Why Is Reuters Featuring this Obama Photo and Why Is Drudge Highlighting It?
Is this intended to smear Obama by catching an out of context moment and making a (not so) subtle suggestion? More on the photo at HuffPo.
UPDATE: Yesterday, the smear was implied, now it’s explicit, courtesy of the NY Post: “The leader of the free world and his French counterpart were caught sneaking a peek at a the pink-satin-draped booty of a 17-year-old junior G-8 delegate just moments before the summit’s official group photo was snapped in Italy yesterday.”
Ann Althouse adds: “Obama’s arms hang free, emphasizing the tilt, and either gravity or will causes the left arm to hang inches away from the torso. See how much lower the right hand is than the left? His neck is craned out and around so that the line of sight is directly at the ass. His mouth is open as if to say: That’s what I want.”
The fact is, with a still photo, there’s no way of knowing what Obama was doing, what he was looking at or why he was turning.
UPDATE 2: Sure enough, the video tells a different story:

abc has a video of the scene http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=8049121
They interpret it more as a ‘O-la-la-moment’ for Sarkozy.
