Liberals have such ridiculous nicknames.  My first thought on the “birther” rhetoric is that it was a derogatory slang for people that were anti-abortion.

As for the video, I can only assume that it will get worse over time.  Then you see him using the DoD as his own personal thug while allowing a soldier to walk from his duties as an officer because he claimed Obama to be unqualified…  things like that will only bring the already boiling pot to a watery mess.

I’m with you, I’m not all that gung-ho on the Obama isn’t a citizen of the US rhetoric, because he’s in and there’s apparently nothing that can stop it now.  What I’m more fascinated by is the lengths the left goes to defending his unwillingness to show documentation.  It’s almost as if they think, deep down inside, that there’s the slightest chance he isn’t eligible (given their inability to properly vent him in the first place) and the overwhelming fear of the devastation such a revelation would do to their party…  almost as if it’s a risk their not willing to take, despite its miniscule chance.
