President Joe Scarborough?

Mike Allen and Jim VanDehei float some not-top-of-mind choices for the GOP presidential nomination in 2010. Among the list is MSNBC morning personality Joe Scarborough.

I would be quite surprised if Scarborough were to quit his morning talk gig (despite some political differences with MSNBC, I enjoy Morning Joe quite a bit) to take up a longshot campaign for the White House.  But Joe must looooove having his name floated out there.

Maybe now I need to go buy his book and read it over the weekend to prepare for the Scarborough administration.

I know the presidential election cycle has gotten compressed somewhat, but I doubt there will be a GOP presidential nominee in 2010, no matter how much Republicans wish this were the case.

Well, we can dream of getting rid of Obama in a 2010 election, at least.  The thought of having to wait until 2012 is really quite depressing.

But Joe Scarborough?  I mean, I know his resume is more complete than our Community-Organizer-in-Chief, but still…..
