FNC News Break: Prez Blames Media for Cops Remark Dustup

Fox News Channel’s Mike Emanuel has a significant new development in the Obama vs. Cambridge Police story. Evidently White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told him that President Obama regrets they way the media has reacted to his pronouncement that the police acted “stupidly,” despite also claiming he doesn’t know all the facts behind the Henry Louis Gates incident.

So the cops are stupid and it’s all the media’s fault.  Got it.

Good grief. Can these Democrats be any more removed from real people?

Obama choses racial affiliation over the rule of law…..

Like Obama’s Justice Dept, dropping charges against armed Black Panthers for voter intimidation last November…..

Obama.

Oh stupid.

LETS CALL A SPADE A SPADE
OBAMA IS A RACIST

Posted by joseph canouse  on  07/24  at  12:33 PM

Nothing new.  In Barack Obama’s world, nothing is Barack Obama’s fault.

His association with the anti-American, anti-Semitic Reverend Wright: not his fault.  His long professional and personal relationship with American terrorists, Bill Ayers and his wife:  not his fault.  Reneging on public funds during the campaign:  not his fault.  Stimulus hasn’t stimulated:  not his fault.  Any glaringly obvious historical fallacies in his speeches:  not his fault (he just reads them).  Speaking from a place of self-admitted pure ignorance and condemning an entire police force:  not his fault.

He is, as you know, without flaw so if there is a misunderstanding, it contends, axiomatically, that the fault must lie with you, not him.

Shocka.  Obama is now throwing his sycophantic media under the bus.  Stop the presses.

Posted by betheweb  on  07/24  at  01:21 PM

Yeah, right. Sure it was. NOT.

Obviously, when he talks about personal responsibility he’s talking about everyone else.

He sure doesn’t show any.

The only way it could be more stupid is if it were a planted question. Of course, they don’t do that. [Giggle]

He must be out looking for people to piss off.  Of course, it won’t work with the press, right now they are probably asking themselves “What did we do wrong”?

Posted by Aubrey  on  07/24  at  01:37 PM

Now he’s backing off, straddling the fence saying both parties probably went too far, that everyone’s overreacting (remarkably not counting himself in that camp).  Is this the worst president ever, or what?  Make room under the bus for Gates—here he comes!

This obozo is amazingly bad. he is showign himself for what he is- a sham.

In fact Obama brought this on himself. FOX news reported that the Gates “question” was planted or requested by White House Staff.
So the Brilliant One screws the Pooch again.

J’accuse le presse pour mon Waterloo!

Posted by Napoleon  on  07/24  at  02:09 PM

Holy cow…he just keeps digging thta hole deeper. I do media relations and media training for a living…his initial response at the news conference, and subsequent statements from him and Gibbs, show a frightening lack of judgment and discipline.

Posted by RB  on  07/24  at  02:22 PM

You simply HAVE to love his statement on this…

“Because this has been ratcheting up and I helped contribute to ratcheting it up,
I want to make clear that in my choice of words I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge Police Department or Sgt. Crowley specifically and I could have calibrated those words differently.”

All about Obama…
meanwhile, the Obamaboners in the media continue to play cleanup.

If only he’d listened to TOTUS…
none of this would have happened.

I blame Bush.

Posted by miriam  on  07/24  at  06:41 PM

Huh…???  Obama is blaming his team now???  And, can someone translate what the hell he said into everyday English.  This proves that Obama is really White.  He uses the English language so that he is talking out of both sides of his mouth at the same time.

Posted by Duffy - Native Intelligence  on  07/25  at  12:17 AM

we should be asking for Obama’s apology…
simple page out of the Democrat’s playbook…
let him know his half-assed, non-apology won’t cut it.

Haven’t you all learned yet?
It’s ALWAYS going to be somebody else’s fault!
He’ll beat that dead horse until 2016 if we’ll let him.

Bush, Cheney, Palin, the people under the bus, etc.  The blame game can go all day for this guy… do you really think he’ll take the blame for making a stupid comment about a white police officer doing his job?  Of course not.  Why risk even further tanking approval numbers over ‘one dumb, white cop?’
