Car Chases Trump All Other News
In the hierarchy of cable news, car chases seem to trump pretty much everything, except perhaps celebrity deaths. Today, we’ve gone from an intense health care debate to roadblock coverage of a SoCal (where else?) car chase.

What was the era of the car chases or truck movies on run from the law in Hollywood?

Your correct about cars racing and being chased by the police will always be around I just don’t think the truck version of this genre will be back. Allot of that has to do with the fact people no longer use CB’s. As well as public anger over the 55MPH speed limit that was enacted in the 70’s.
